Thousands of years in the past, a war was fought between the Atlanteans of Atlantis and the Amazons of Themyscira.[1]
Aftermath[]
After the war's end, the two factions would not cross paths until Arthur Curry and Wonder Woman were forced to join forces to defend the Earth against the forces of Darkseid, an ancient New God from Apokolips that the two species once united to fight against during the first Invasion of Earth.[1]
